Summary:
The Grocery Store Assistant Manager will assist the Store Manager in managing the daily operations of the grocery store.
This includes overseeing the staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager in managing the daily operations of the grocery store Oversee the staff and ensure they are performing their duties effectively Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service Manage inventory and ensure products are stocked and displayed properly Maintain a clean and organized store Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling staff Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Available to work weekends Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications PI224776885 Recommended Skills Communication Customer Satisfaction Customer Service Human Resources Interpersonal Skills Merchandising Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
